We are Celebrating More than 125 Years as a Parish. JOIN US!
Situated
atop a hill in Millvale, overlooking the city of Pittsburgh, St. Nicholas Church was established in 1900 by
Croatian immigrants and is recognized as a national historic place and Pittsburgh landmark. The
church houses the murals of Croatian artist Maxo Vanka, which not only depict
biblical narratives but also document the experiences of Croatian immigrants in
1930’s Pittsburgh. Presently,
the parish remains an inclusive and active community, welcoming all! We offer a range of programs including an active Holy Rosary Society, Bible Study/Spiritual Enrichment, a choir, and various outreach initiatives designed to serve the parish
and surrounding area. St. Nicholas Church
invites you to join in the fun for our annual Spring Luncheon (with BINGO!),
Fall Spaghetti Dinner (with Raffle & Silent Auction) and many more events
you can enjoy throughout the year – plus weekly Mass!
